Katy Perry’s “E.T.,” featuring Kanye West, spends a fifth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, to be released tomorrow (May 5) on Billboard.com, while Britney Spears’ “Till the World Ends” soars back into the top 10, and to a new chart peak, fueled by its superstar-studded remix.
“E.T.” (2-1) remains atop the Hot 100 courtesy of a second week at No. 1 on Radio Songs (138 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS) and sixth week in charge of Digital Songs. As previously reported, “E.T.” sold slightly more than 300,000 downloads (down 13%), according to Nielsen SoundScan, edging out Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” which holds at No. 2 on the sales ranking (just under 300,000; up 1%) and the Hot 100.
